This removes all doubt that there are two sets of rules in the NHL. One for 29 teams and another for the Terrible Maple Losers. This is unbelievable, I personally would like to see an on-ice riot at the next Buffalo/Laffs game. Maybe then the so called "BRAINS" of the NHL will wake up and figure out what is wrong with this league.

I hope Ruff sends out the demolision squad at the next game, it hurts me to actiually type this... but I have to admit it is my true feeling.

Hockey has caused so many problems due to stupidity. They only suspend for what happens and not what was attempted. The actual knee to knee contact on Hecht was in my oppinon accidental yet Tucker tried to take his head off. If Tucker had conected with his attempt it would have been a sure fire suspension. To me is seems like garbage that its not a suspension, also what a dirty puke that Tucker is, he got hit by Grier but since Grier is a big boy who can handle himself he goes after Hecht a big boy that isn't known for rough stuff, similar to Kovalev(In respect to there both big and for the most part not physical.)

There is many precedent where this can result is serious injury, one that was already brought up is the Moore Bertuzzi incident, but also the Kovy Tucker incident that just occured. If Tucker had been called for his attempted cheap shot that semiconected Kovy would have never bowled him over. Sure we cheered but the truth is Tucker could have been hurt. Another good example is the Perezhogin incident (I was at the game) The ref (Bob Langdon) was letting everything go, Stafford swung his stick for Perez's head and Perezhogin hit the ice to avoid the swing. Did the ref do anything? No. So Perez had to stick up for himself and hit Stafford. Now here's the part of that incident that is appalaing, Perez missed a year of AHL hockey while Stafford only was suspended 6 games for the next year. What does that teach? Its okay to swing your stick as long as it doesn't injure anyone. I think its time we start suspending hockey players on intent. Tucker should return to the trailer park where he belongs.
