Day to Day...
I have heard he has been back on skates, but no practice. Can anyone verify this, or update me on his expected return date?
Love to have the cube back for any playoff situation we may find ourselves in- Ottawa, Carolina, etc could all use a little "keep yer head up" action from Francis.

There is a report out of a Montreal radio station that Bouillion is going to be out of action for 4 to 6 weeks. Outside of Markov he is probably the Habs best skating defenceman, and somebody that can get the puck out of the zone effectively. Definetly miss his work ethic. It means the Habs will have to rely on Streit and Dandenault a lot more, not a good thing.

Damn I love Bouillon, what a defenseman, plays like he's 6'4 when he's 5'8, big heart, he's a tremendous skater too and can score, who else carries the puck from one end of ice to the other like him, Sheldon, Markov doesn't even do it anymore..Man Streit makes too many mistakes hope Bouillon can be back for the playoffs.

When a player is out and we lose a lot of games, as we did when Markov and Kovy were out, many posters here are quick to point to their absence as a possible reason.

I'm here to propose that there may be a correlation between Cube's absence and our win streak.

I like Cube a lot. He's as feisty as they come, plays with more heart than anybody except possibly Begin, skates well and passes brilliantly at times.

But it seems to me that he's really weak in his own end, and especially in coverage around the net. He was -7 in December, including a -3 game vs. Anaheim that had me screaming at him through my TV. Too often, he's watching the puck while an oppositon player sneaks in behind him and taps one in.

I like Cube's spunk, but BG may be on to something with his 7-man defensive squad.
