Would you believe I was watching this game last night, 1-0 after two, and just as Chantale was starting her interview with some Bruin,.................the power goes off! And it stayed off until around 2:30 this morning. It was a nice warm evening, so I don't know what happened, but the timing was something, wasn't it? I had to watch the highlights on TV before going to bed.
So I never saw the third period, so could someone give me a quick recap, please? I know Murray scored his second goal and Huet got his shutout, but how was the play?

There is only one way to describe the 3rd period. Tim Thomas was amazing. He robbed Kovy 3 times point blank while 5 on 3, then again 5 on 4. The Bruins announcers were saying with 10 mins gone that there were still spots in the Montreal end that hadn't been touched. I think the boys played very well in the 3rd. The score didnt tell how lopsided the game was. But Huet did look a little shaky at times. Our D was great at not giving the Bruins any chance to get at rebounds. Good to see our boys bail Huet out for a change. You missed a good period Nil.

Thanks, rwp!
I still don't know what caused the power outage - perhaps all the get-up downtown for the Juno Awards. (Hosted by Pamela Anderson - the two biggest boobs to hit Halifax since Mario Tremblay and Rejean Houle.) I made the mistake of wanting to walk my dog in the south end (I live in the north end) and was stuck in Juno traffic for half an hour.
Anyway, way to go Huet! I asked for a shutout and he delivered. The Broons must think it's Ken Dryden all over again!
