Hockeyville and Glen(da) Anderson

Watched about five minutes of "Hockeyville" on CBC tonight; it was about all I could stand.  They made TSN look professional...........

But I heard one time that Glenn Anderson was gay * and he's one of the panelists on this show.  Well, I have no problem with any of this, but I can't say I've ever seen a more effeminate man in my life!  He gives Toller Cranston a run for his money.

Anyone else have comments on this show?  I may tune in again later, once they start actually showcasing the towns.

* Not that there's anything wrong with that.

And-o watched for 30 minutes or so...fairly interesting - at least for a night with no Hab game on TV!

...and, yes, Glenn(a) Anderson is as queer* as a $3 bill.

And-o's "Gaydar" also chirps once in a while when Mike Bossy speaks, although And-o is fairly certain that Mike is just a tad eccentric*.

* not that there is anything wrong with that

The word back in the day was that Glennifer was romantically linked to Wendy Clark...

Those rumours surfaced at around the same time as the ones linking Stephan Richer to Roch Voisine*

*There might be something wrong with that -- but only because Roch Voisine is a real cheeseball.

This is too funny. A couple of comments

(1) Glenda was a fine hockey player

(2) Any references to Stephane Richer still makes me laugh

(3) My favorite heckling chant when I see a Clark jersey, either at a game or IN TORONTO WHERE I UNFORTUNATELY LIVE is yelling "WE-NDY!!! WEN-DY!!!" at the top of my lungs.

Do you mean Stephanie * Richer?

I agree with And-o * that Mike Bossy also sounds a little light on the loafers, but for some funny reason he only does when speaking English.  He is less effeminate in French for some reason.

* not that there is anything wrong with that

Glennifer!  That's as funny as the Reboundatron.

Thanks for that chuckle, Two-four.

Funny you should mention Toller.  The rumour that I had heard was that when Anderson came to Toronto, he stayed with Toller for a period.  *Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I know Toller is effiminate *, but he actually has a "monthly visitor"?
