First line with Koivu and Higgins playing well. Back from Panama and things are looking good for the boys!

I didn't get to see this game, so I'd love to hear some accounts from you guys.

Glad to see Koivu get the monkey off his back.

Pretty even game from both sides. Bad penalties taken by both team, especially Ribs at the end of the game...

That goal at 19:57 must have seemed like a killer at the time!

Describe the goals, if you would be so kind.  Also, how was Huet?  The GAA goes down still...........

Kolzig did play well...but the Canadiens remain a true goal scorer away from really contending....There is no way this game should have been anywhere near this close. Although Kolzig did get luck on a couple of saves.

I think Jeff Halpern would look really good in a Habs jersey.

Stupid penalties will be the death of this team.

Ribeiro teased us by playing with intensity a few games back I think he, Bulis, and Sundstrom will all be gone by next year.

Its funny I don't think anyone would have thought Higgins would have had this much success, such a smart player. Komocop really played well...he neutralized Ovechkin most of the game. I think Perezhogin needs to learn how to use his strength better and he will be a very good player...second line winger probably. I would really like to see Plekanec, Perezhogin, and Kostitsyn make up a line next year.

BTW you can read my blog on the State of the Leafs and "Hockey night in Canada" at http://www.sportsblogsquad.com --- any comments would be appreciated!

I can't see Jeff ever leaving Washington, as that is his hometown team. I don't think he would be as happy elsewhere.
