Just got back from Montreal what a weekend. Just wondering if anyone has a close up picture on that Kovalev hit on Marcy Tucker.

Funny nickname (Marcy T), but Darcy is also a girl's name.  I know several.


You must have loved those games, 11!  The last time I made a pilgrimage to the Shrine, the Habs were blown away 7-3 by Detroit...............

That hit was so priceless and totally premeditated.  You could see Kovy look back when he got high sticked and he proceeeds to wheel around the zone, with the puck, and fly at Tucker's face with his elbow...hahaha.  That might be my favourite play of the year.  Kovy's stock went up about 5 points in my books.

i think the best part of the hit, was the crowd reaction.


Hab Fans - cheering like crazy, loudest ovation of the game


Leaf Fans - booing, possibly in shock realizing Marcy just got cracked and their leading scorer got a taste of his own medicine, not from Downey or Murray but from our Best Player


Classic...


the sunday montreal gazette has an extreme closeup of the hit, awesome picture. Wonder if anyone has scanned that picture yet. if so please put it up for everyone
