Remember where you heard it first, early in the game I said I wouldn't be cofortable until the habs had 6. Then I GAURANTEED no more than 5 by abby. An ugly win by an ugly goalkeeper, but two great points. Leafs hold on to beat Jersey, allis right with the world...we're tied for 7th!

Well Isles, Caps and Bruins twice this week. I am hunger I want all 8 pts. I hope Huet can work hard and win all 4. If BG decides to start Abbt in one of those games, Im sorry then he has a big problem and as fer as I would be concerned BG would need a check up from the neck up

Thanks for the guarantee........ but the Habs should not have to score 6 goals to win a game.  Sheesh.............


Leafs also won (I don't care, as long as NJ lost), so we're tied with New Jersey - a full three points ahead of Atlanta.

This game made me nervous...thank god we came out with the two points...


Listening to the game on CJAD they said that Huet went to get the game puck (presumably to get it for Abby's first win) at the end but Crosby wouldn't give it to him...what's up with that?

The team is NOT happy with Aebischer right now. And he knows it. The way they greated him at the end was more of a " thanks for not ****ing this one up completely " than a "thanks for the goaltending"


The "Reboundatron" NEEDS to get his act together. HE was brought in to HELP the habs get into the playoffs because Theo was...lets not go there...


If he is going to play like this, i say send him back to Colorado and send back some Dayquil and a giant case of redbull for Huet, because hes going to need the energy for all the games he'll be playing!

Huet is just getting into mid-season form.  He's played a small number of games comoared to most starters.  I don't think we need be concerned with his endurance.  Think he's got plenty in the tank.

IT is because of his Ribs injury, he never recoverd and played through it against the leafs, now Gainey is resting him.

This is an excellent point. While it's true Huet has played only 29 games, the most games he's ever played were 41 (with L.A. in 02/03). If he plays the rest of the games that will put him at 40 for the season...so why even worry about Abby?!?!

Because the amount of games have come in a shorter period of time. I don't think he will burn out, but we still need to remember that this is a guy used to playing once a week... at best... not 3-5 times a week for months on end.

this game was...heart pounding...abby got on my bad side and i never want to see him with a CH on his shirt...what about that bonk tough!!! lol the way hes been playing ...in his head he must be saying ''look at me...I AM KOVALEV'' and so on ...quite good stick handeling
and higgins....since the exhibition games i had high hopes for this guys...glad to see him perform !!! now i cant wait for koivu to put one in....god knows he deservs it
