jeanthehabtist picked it up for tonights game. His topic title isnt exactly the format we've been using for game threads, but its a game thread no less. Good question though, where IS spidey??

Tonighs game i have a feeling will be MUCH closer than thursday nights game. Toronto is probably PISSED about the outcome of that game. And fortunately, we get to keep them in our building. Momentum should stay with us, and if we play even half as well as we did last game, a win should be easily within our grasp. Im looking for a close game, 1-2 goal difference in the final score. Not going to jinx it and put actual numbers up though. Ill just say...it would be nice to see the habs win tonight

I think the key to tonight's game is Huet. If he plays well, I don't see why we can't win. The Leafs are not a particularly strong team, and I know we can score on them. So if Huet continues to shut them down, I'm sure we'll get the win.
Even if we play like last game, it won't be easy. The Laffs will be very hungry and more comfortable in the building in the second game. Not such a home ice advantage if they can get their fans into it. The key to this one is if we score first again.
Spidy hope u r coming back. If the Habs can keep up with 60 minutes of play like they did last game, solid goaltending, great defense, frowards backchecking, d men headmaning the puck into offensive zone and the forwards winning the battles in the corners oh and a big YES stay out of ther penalty box then I say we can take them 4-1
Priority One will be to stay out of the box. Although Toronto didn't have a good PP last game, don't expect it for a second game. We have to take 3 or less penalties and Toronto we be forced into taking some because it is the only way they can keep up.
i beleive that the canadiens know what to do tonight and yes big part his to stay out of the box but with guys like higgins and begin and plekanecs and murray during the power play killing time i feel pretty confertable...now if the key players could play with heart the i dont think the leafs stand a chance...lets just hope the players didnt leave the momentum and realize how important this game is for them...and for the fans dont let me down!! :) 5-3 habs win!

Toronto haven;t scored an even strength goal in 5 games!!!
On their PP, if the Canadiens can control the lateral pass to the slot where O'Neil or Sundin position themselves, then the Canadiens will neutralize their PP like they did on Thursday.
P.S. Hope y'all don't mind the constant updates, but it is the first game I am listening to straight through since I arrived in Korea and I have little else to do while I listen...
The boys bounce back after the leafs quiet the fans a little, but good ole newf ties it up and big bonkers scores 2 for a 2 goal lead. Bonk has 2 periods to get the hatrick.....never thought i would be writing that tonight, or ever.
All Leafs in the first ten minutes; all Habs in the last ten.
Leafs forechecking like madmen, causing problems for the Habs' defensemen at first, but Habs doing the same in the last half. Best forwards: Bonk, Begin, Murray, Downey!
Huet looking so confident in nets. Can't say the same for Tellqvist. First Bonk goal was weak.
That last goal had to hurt, if you're a Laff fan....................

Tucker headhunting. Looks like the Leafs are going back to their goons ways. Tucker should be kicked out of the game if he is elbowing people in the head along the glass. I am glad we have Downey and Simpson in the line-up tonight!
