And-o, you make a good point about Markov. It's like Huet, he instills confidence in the whole team. When was the last time a defensemen has made such a POSITIVE difference to the team? Maybe Chelios?

Overall a way better effort by everyone tonight. We have to keep it going to make up for our regular season blunders to make the playoffs but it's a POSITIVE start.

Also, this was a well coached game. Gainey played his lines well! The Bonk and Begin line were great defensively. He used Kovy alot and he was dangerous every time he touched the puck. A big POSITIVE behind the bench tonight to match up lines. He used the last change effectively! A good balance of ice overall.

I'm pleased about tonights game and hope they can keep her going!

How about Saks'? He really played well AB. He was second star, so I'm not being pro-Saku. Just calling it the way I saw it.

Good team effort. Kovy, Koivu and I think Souray were the RDS three stars. Listened to it on CJAD and the top two lines were playing well, good sign.

By far Saks best game in a long time. Good effort from him and one solid play with open ice and he didn't waste it. Good pass to Higgins off his back hand.
