Well, another thread closed, and I'm not sure why....
This is going to be my last post until there's a set of guidelines that is spelled out for us. They are sorely needed.
If this is my last post, I bid farewell to my pals up here (you know who you are) and to all the other posters new and old for the great education and laughs
And a big thanks to Mario, Figaro and Johab for making this a great place to vent and kvetch

Say it ain't so!
Brook, I have discerned a hint of anger or bitterness in your posts of late, and was hoping all was OK in your world. I'm sad to see you sign off like this. You are an invaluable contributor to this Board, and your artistic talents have added a hugely enjoyable dimension that didn't exist before. Imitation is the best form of flattery, and several others have tried to do the same. But none have your flair.
I sincerely hope you will reconsider, but if not, then I hope you hiatus will be a brief one.

Yes, not sure why the thread was closed. Maybe too much not hockey related? I got a good kick out of And-o's humour. And as far as the back and forth between Brook et al...all seemed civil.
well for what it's worth Brooks I'm not far behind ya ....the thought police have become a little too restrictive and on occassion have in my opinion shown poster bias ....
I don't know about the rest of the gang, but there was a one-man round of applause at your last post, Brookie. You couldn't have been more right, it was worth saying, and you didn't say anything that should have upset anybody that I could see.
The board is a living, growing thing with new posters all the time - including me not that long ago - who don't know how things should ideally be done and would probably not mind hearing about it from a vet like you. Closing a thread on that topic only stunts the growth of this wonderfully organic thing that is gohabs.com.
You have been one of my favorite parts of participating on this board and I don't want to see you go.
Can we send flowers? Candy? A keg of Guinness?
Please cut whomever made the decision to close the thread some slack and reconsider. Something like that shouldn't rob you of your voice here -- or rob us of it either.
P.S. If I find out who cut you off, I'll sh*t maple leafs on them.
I'm sad to see you go Brook, you're a BIG part of the heart, soul and nucleus of the board. You and a few others are the only reason I check the board daily. I learn things from you guys and gals. As you can see I have "very" few posts. It's frustrating sometimes seeing how things get edited, blocked or just disapear. I've been here for a long time but now choose not to partake as often as before. Hoping you re-apear sooner than later. There's not many games left???????.................nufsed..........cheers buddy.........normie

Well Brook, I am very sad to see you go, but I expected that this would happen soon and I certainly feel your frustration. I am asleep during your daytime and when I wake up, almost all the posts that I had read the night before are gone, as well as some of the ones from that day, so there are certain posts that I never see. The volume of new threads is over-kill,mainly because so many are the same topic. There are some posters who have more posts than I do after 2-3 weeks and I have been here for many months. Maybe the moderators can start bunching posts together that match so that we can have some continuity in our reading instead of fractured thoughts.
