Dress Markov and just have him sit on the bench - whenever he is in the lineup we seem to win.

Do not play Streit at all!!  He is useless.

I think we have to play Streit. He's our leading scorer (in the past 2 days).

Really? Useless?

He got a goal yesterday didn't he? I wouldn't say that's useless. We might not have gotten a win yesterday, but you can't win without goals & he did get one.

Give credit where credit is due.

...plus Streit is Swiss so you know he's neutral in the dressing room.

Hahahaha.....

The real way to win is to make all the guys go out for beers together & work on their grievances together.

Really guys, think about it...if Gainey used Saks against the Sundin line, we are done. If Saks has his Olympic helmet on, we may have a chance if Sundin leaves his at home!

You'd be better off cheering for the Leafs AB...

John, you're starting to concern me with the cheap shot personal remarks.

Did I take away your milk and cookies?

It's just out of charactor for you to steep so low these last few wks. I always respected while expecting you to have a different opinion especially on Saks but now I'm losing respect for you personally.

If you're angry about something I post, be a man like you used to and rebut it respectfully. Sure I sympathize that it must wear on you to always have to justify Sak's play this season but I'm still intitled to my opinions without the cheap shots and stalking like posts.

Think about it, what will happen during the next few years when more posters come to the forefront and admit that they are not as pro-Saks as they used to be. Many posters are already taking off their blinders.

I'm worried that this forum is making you too bitter already!

I've said it before and I'll say it again AB, you post so many negative comments about the Habs that most of the time it seems you are more of an Anti-Habs fan. So why not be the next best thing and go cheer for the Leafs.

Most of your comments have no factual backing, just what you think could happen if Mario was playing for the Habs...

If Gainey feels the need to ice Saku versus Sundin, I hope that he at least has the common sense of playing Higgins and Bulis with Saku!!!

Otherwise...lights-out early!

(And-o doesn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling about covering Allison either...the guy can't skate...but he can move around the net at will...and he has a great nose for the net!)

Like I said John, when you see a Saks posts, there're not many positives that can come out of it. Blame the player, not the poster. I'm being factual when I post about him not playing well.

I don't ever see your posts as factual John. At least when I post, I explain my thoughts. I have never read a post from yourself that indicates you're a Hab fan but merely a Saks fan. You shouldn't feel the need to be Saks saviour by being bitter and telling posters to **** off!

Telling a poster to go to a Laffs board is equivilent to telling them to **** off! Please take a breather John. You used to be a respectful poster and now can't handle the pressure of your main man not playing well. Have you even been watching the games?

The Habs need Saks to play better. End of story!

Yup, I do post actual statistics. Have you looked at those or is it too much for you to absorb? Take a look at last years stats over this years and you tell me the difference?

This has nothing to do with Saku, you blast everyone, except for Ribs of course... Maybe if you opened your eyes you would see that it is a team game and this team is barely scraping by.

If you actually read my posts, you'll find that I criticize the players not playing well and conversely if they are playing well, I credit the player.

If it sounds like I'm more negative than positive, it means that more players are or have played poorly than played well.

I have been supportive of guys like Markov, Begin, Boullion and Huet all season. I'm now supportive of guys like Rivet, Souray, Ribs and even Zed. These players are now playing to their potential and it's just a matter of time Zed starts scoring. I'm positive on all our rookies especially Komi because I reallize he lost his mom.

As far as scraping by, I have posted that Gainey is average as GM and not the best coach for this team. Also that the core players need to step it up. I have also said that Kovy is playing better with more intensity and keeps drawing double coverage but still produces over the last bit. He can play better but is trying and with more ice of which he can handle would be more valuable to us now.

Also, stated back in Nov. that Huet would be our number one goalie by season's end. I also stated that Plecs would take over number one center next season if Gainey doesn't add players in that position by then. Also said that Ribs may again have more points than Saks after this season but that Saks would redeem himself in the playoffs.(if we get there) Also, I mentioned several times that Ryder is one demensional and needs to work on other aspects of his game. As most posters see now, when he isn't scoring, he looks silly out there. Do I want him traded...no way!

Also, I have used stats to make points especially regarding Saks and his new contract. Yes, I use stats and have on many players that don't play for us also.

Whether you agree or not, I'm objective. I post it how I see it. I don't wear blinders. No player is God on this team! They are all millionares that will be critisized by me and others.

If I deserved to be told to **** off by yourself than you need to take a breather.

I understand every part of your post AB, except the last sentence:

"If I deserved to be told to **** off by yourself than you need to take a breather." - No comprendo.

I guess what irritates me is the slamming one day, then the cheering the next, a la Rivet. It has been too typical as a Habs fan to jump off and on the bandwagon. Blasting a player one day and the next saying he's a hero.

 Whatever John.

Just remember...when you tell a Hab fan to go to a Laffs board, it is equivilent to telling them to **** off. Don't think board members will always let you get away with it.

Take a rest, get away, you sound like a bitter old man. Is there a beach where you're at?
