Barry I just read your post about what u saw at the game last night. I am posting this off thread because I want to make sure you read this. Now, as a  coach what would you do about these players who are not getting along??   What does a coach (and GM) do when there are players who are causing the trouble in the D room and they just dont give a S***. Personally I look at Kovy and he looks like a wiseass who does not care what a coach says, he is like a renegade. If it was up to me I would trade him to the lousiest team in the league and show him that he is no better than anyone else. I watched him last night and he would not pass the damn puck. He is selfish and a wiseass. So barry all kidding aside,  what needs to be done to correct this problem aside form new aquisitions for next year, who needs to go to get comraderie(spelling)  in the D room again.

Well I dont know. Gainey is doing his best to work with Kovalev. It is tough. Tom Rennie has doen a great job in figuring out how to stroke Jagr's ego in New York to get results and I suspect that Gainey is scratching his head trying to do the same with "The Gifted One", number 27. I am predicting that Kovalev is moved this summer. CJ seems to think so. As for correcting the problem in that room I have been saying it all year. It has to be fixed inside by the players. Gainey can remove a thorn or 2 but you still need to have teh players who are left rally together and get it done. This is not happening.
