i think......Sourray....he's got the shot, he's got the leadership, he's got the physical presence. I mean in the end I rather have Sourray than Markov. What do u guys think?
You really can't compare the two. Markov is just a solid D man, leader in ice time, great on the powerplay, good skater and passer. Souray is a big physical D man, with a power shot, but not as smart Defensively. I say keep both....haha
Give me Markov any day. Souray is WAY more inconsistent and also has a history of injury. Souray's much more of a leader though, where Markov's quiet. We have seen how the Habs consistently do poorly when Markov is out of the lineup. Habs record with Markov in lineup: 28-16-8 Habs record without Markov in lineup: 3-10-1 For me, Markov's Team MVP this year, hands down. -- Edited by plouf at 21:39, 2006-03-19

I actually agee with Plouf! Markov has been solid this season. He may have the nod for MVP over Huet.
It's definitely Markov for me too. Souray is probably a better leader in terms of the soft skills, but Markov has it all over him on the ice. We need him back on the point on the PP ASAP.
Plouf's stats say it all.
Without a doubt, Montreal's MVP this year.
