Well, I do not know about the playoffs now. The d was hurting enough never mind without the injuries to these two. We cannot contend with the Sens, Caps, Toronto and we have 4 games with Boston. Now, I know we have handeled the Bruins this year. The have come on strong this wek with wins over the Canes and Sens. If I could have the 4 losses from the Canes, 3 from the Pens and the ones from the Leafs we would be in good shape in the standings. We cannot and will not be able to compete until we get too work on some more help on the D and in the Ctr position.

I am at the point I almost do not care if they make it..why make it only to be embarassed by Ottawa or carolina? I suppose that Gillette would enjoy the 2 extra home gates though.

Well, I sort of agree. Not sure I want to watch the next one.

By the same token, let's think back to last year. We were also counting ourselves out then. And given the lineup we had, a quarter-final exit to the cup-winning team wasn't that embarassing.
