I guess he deserves it. Afterall, he played fairly well against Carolina. Things just fell apart because he was getting no support from the team. So against the last place team instead of the first place team, let's see how he responds.
I think Huet, more than anything, needs a break. I think Aeb, more than anything, needs an opportunity now if the team and he are going to have confidence in each other down the stretch and in the playoffs, especially if Huet gets hurt.

Couldn't have put it better myself! That more or less echoes what I was thinking.
Huet is the number 1. We all know that. But Aebischer deserves another stab at it. Last game was not his fault, and I would like to see how he plays tonight. But even if he wins, I can guarantee Huet will be back in the net for the next one.
I say this is a bad a very bad mistake. Wht you ask well thew bruins just beat Ottawa and today the Canes. They are coming on with very hot goaltending. They were written off but their top lins accxounted for most of the points today including a hat trick. This is no time for Bg to screw with Huet. Now Huet has not played for what 7 days. This is not good.. So Aebischer will get shell shocked tonight and lose 5-2. That just leaves Huet to stem the tide. Very bad move by BG, then again I have not been too impressed with too many of his moves since he came here from Dallas
The ZBruins are playing well. I do not want them to catch us in 8th spot. If we lose with Abescher (spelling) thats 2 points we could lose. In a nut shell, I am concerned we will lose with the Bruins coming on and playing well. We play the Brions 4 more times I think and we cannot aford any extra losses before we play them later on this season. I want to hold on to 8th
Ciao spero che state bene! BG wants to confirm to the MTL fans that Abby is a solid goaltender. He is trying to convince us that Abby was a good pick up and will be a steady back up goalie for years to come. Not a bad decision.
I'm actually not worried about our goaltenders. I think we need to support them with offense and we'll have a solid tandom. The team let Aeby down so why not throw him back in there and hope the team makes it up to him by playing well.

Exactly, the Habs problem is not goaltending...Didn't seem like that 2 months ago.

Bruins are pretty far back davidb. Have you been letting those NESN guys get to you? Just remember. NESN guys are clueless.
No they are what 8 points behind us. They way they are playing and the way we r losing they will pass us. Especially because they play us 4 more times and may win em all

Ever the optimist eh davidb? So you really think we might lose all 4 games to the Bruins?
Well they handled The Canse today very well. Their goalis Thomas is unbelievable and they beat the Sens. Not sure but I am Habs fan not so optomistic but a Habs fan.
