I do not like they way this one is going. We need 2-3 quick goals in the third. A one goal lead wil not do. I want to see #11 and #27 break out with a few

Bye Bye Toronto. 4-0 right now.

Well, we have about three minutes of PP time to open the third.  Fresh legs, clean ice, let's get 'er done!

I feel terrible about the Cube.  Man I love that guy; and here he goes getting hurt just when we need him the most.  All the more reason for wanting Markov back ASAP; the team is not the same without him.

And a great argument - again - for no-touch icing.  If that were the rule, the Cube would still be playing.  One simple rule change that's a no-brainer, and it's done everywhere but the NHL!

And Atlanta is losing too.  Come on Habs!  Pour it on in the third.

Win one for the Cuber!

(And that's my post #2014 - the year - hopefully - when Halifax hosts the Commonwealth Games!)

Aebischer SUCKS, worse than theo. Its amazing what a good Defence (colorado) can do for you.

Same with M.Dandenault (spelling), he always looked half good, because he was surrounded with other good to great Dmen.

Begin. Gotta love that guy.
Gotta love our PK in general.

Anyway, a big worry is how many penalties we take.

5 goals on 22 shots. Weak by Aebischer. No denying it.

Finally Montreal gets some goals and the effort is squandered.

I still think it was the right move in theory that Aeb played twice in a row. I still have not given up on him either, but tonight is his fault.

Biggest loss is not the game, unfortunately, as bad as that was. Bouillon maybe out for the season by the sounds of it. No Bouillon and no Markov hurts. I guess we'll soon see what this Simpson character is like.

You are correct and I realize I have been really negative this evening. My God if markov and Boullion are out for extended periods thats bad. Thats what we need to talk about. Now the schedule over the next 10 is tough. If we are to make the playoffs everyone and I mean everyone needs to step it up. If we could gey #11 and 27 To get going we could have achance. I do not know what it will take. Does anyone know about these two.

Just listening to Don Cherry about the habs is pissing me off....don't talk about your precious leafs Don, or your Bruins, no take your frustration out on the habs..

Abby better only see about 2 more games this year

Kovy needs to wake the f%#k up

Zednik, wide open net and misses

Ryder start shooting

Souray, keep up the good work

Komo, shooting alot more, thats what i like to see

Begin, on the final 7 seconds....???? Ok Gainey

And Gainey, make your lines somewhat beleivable....and show some emotion

This is good news but if it's a high ankle sprain, he could still be out all season

This one hurts, boys and girls.  We out shot Pittsburgh 46-23 and still lost.  In a nutshell: we were out-goaltended.  Fleury was named #1 star on RDS - the first time in my over 40 years of watching hockey that I've seen a goalie let in 4 goals and be first star.  And he deserved it!  He was the difference.  (In a strange twist, the CBC stars were completely different - and exactly the three I had in my head, in the same order too - Leclair, Fleury and Souray.)

The Hab forwards are "snakebit", as they say.  Koivu, Ryder, Zednik, Higgins, Kovalev all had chances and couldn't put it in.  (I also thought Kovalev had a stupid penalty after he gave up on the play, and yes, Koivu had two stupid penalties.  He's not playing well at all these days.)

But the killer was that last goal by Roy - brutal.  If Huet doesn't start the next game, I'll think the fix is on.

I sure hope Bouillon is not out for long.  Apparently he came back to the Bell Centre walking without crutches, and nothing is broken.

Fun to see Bruce Rainnie on CBC.  I used to see him at my tennis club.

Good post Nil! Also good news if the Cube isn't on crutches.

I heard something about "bruise" ...so that could be a good thing. Anyway, cross your fingers. I think Bouillon's been one of the best Habs lately, so it would be a crying shame if he was gone for an extended period.

ONE positive at least. Souray shoots on the powerplay, and he's getting it on net these days. He's unstoppable if we get guys in front to screen. Let's hope the old Souray is back to stay!

SECOND positive (but not a total positive). We had four goals and we should have had more. We are creating chances and shooting it, creating rebounds. But where is the finishing from in tight? Can someone just roof the puck please?

And
Thank you Bulis for finishing. How ironic that Bulis is the one guy who finishes a play....

Yes, I agree. Also if you watch that play with the Cube going in the boards like that, you'd think he would fractured a heel or ankle or something more. Man, that little guy is probably the toughest Hab, pound for pound!

In general about tonight, one of the most disappointing loses in the past 10 years,  how the hell do they lose to an AHL team

Koivu and Rivet, stop taking so many stupid penalties, you guys are supposed to be our leaders, wake up for gods sake.  Man tonights game pissed me off, and I hope i'm not alone!!

When were short handed, stop looking for the big hit, one of the biggest rules my coaches told me when playing junior hockey was never bodycheck someone when short handed because it takes you out the play, lots easier to kill a 5 on 4 than a 4 on 3.

 Get the lines straight

Get Ryder off the pp, hes struggling right now, and has nothing going for him

Start winning, the last few games the atmosphere has been amazing, but our heroes fell short, and if they keep this up, I'll be focused on the Expos, sorry the Nationals......
