Know what I want to see tonite? I WANT TO SEE OUR BEST GUYS STEP UP AND BE OUR BEST GUYS!!!!!!! Koivu has not scored in 13 games. Kovalev, shows up then goes away. Zednick..where the hell have YOU Been?!?? Abby will be in nets which I think is a GREAT move. He will want to prove to Gainey that HE should be the go to guy down the stretch. What I want to see is someone step up and carry this team on their back. Someone to say "OK boys, follow me, we are going to the promised land". I don't care if it is Koivu, Kovalev, or even Ribiero. Someone just step up and DO IT!!

I think that Abby will play well in his Hab debut, but not well enough to make up for some defensive zone miscues. Penalties will be a big factor -- Caroliina's a strong skating team and will draw a lot fo penalties, putting us short-handed often, unless we play smart.

Our offense will try their very hardest and fight like hell (watch for Begin to be one of the three stars), but won't get enough pucks in the net. Still, a 3-2 loss to Carolina is a lot better than the 8-2 thrashing they took last time. I pray I'm wrong about the outcome, but if not, a close game will at least show the Canes that we will not roll over for them.

I'm with you, Barry. Let's see what these guys are paid for (besides being lucky to have a "job" that includes skates and interviews). I want to see Rivet crush. I want to see Koivu zip. I want to see Souray blast. I want to see Kovalev score, score, score. I want to see Begin do what he does every night. And I want to see a W. Now's the time to make a move in the standings.

Giving the Canes a run for their money tonight is positive but loosing right now shouldn't be an option for the Habs. They really have to have a no loose attitude tonight.

Amen to that Figs! I am tired of excuses for some of these guys with huge contracts. If they are half as good as their agents think they are, then the cream will rise to the top during this crunch time. Get 'er done boys!
