I don't feel too bad for these guys. They've made the play-offs 28 times in a row and now they are missing one? We've all been through it, so they are long overdue. They had the fire sale to get out of financial trouble, but why the hell did they sign Weight and Tkachuk to these massive deals? It's just poor management that has caught up with them. That team has more troubles than their record. They are one of the teams (along with Pittsburgh) that has the potential to move elsewhere.
I do feel sorry for the guys playing there, though. It is isn't their fault that management has ruined the team.

still, 28 straight seasons...thats impressive any way you look at it, especially in the current NHL.
The management boneheads for the blues go much farther back that just Weight and Tkachuk. I believe some guy name Wayne Gretzky played there for a good 16 games or so....Not sure if he was any good, but there sure seemed to be a lot of hype about the guy for a while.
