This is all I could find on the web:

Player News

Markov left Saturday's game against the Rangers in the second period due to back spasms. He was unable to return.

Injury Report

Back - Questionable for March 13 vs. Tampa Bay
(Updated - 3/12/06)

Fantasy Analysis

Markov is considered day to day for now. Keep him reserved in all Fantasy leagues if you have healthier alternatives.

I guess now, we'll see Simpson play! They should rest Markov if his back is acting up!

Just heard that the presence of Markov will be unlikely and Simpson is sharping his skates.

He's surely isn't a Markov but at least you're putting in a player with years of experience to replace him.

It is called "POSH" or "Post Olympic Stress Hangover". Thankfully, we only had one player afflicted with this deblitating disease and it is curable with rest.

I think Bulis and Koivu caught it too but not hardly as severe. Their immune systems are somewhat stronger.

Agree on Streit. I want to like the guy because he seemed like such a good leader for the Swiss-cheese olympic team. But I don't want his swiss-cheese defensive play on the ice for our team!

I've been impressed with Cote and would even rather see Simpson suit up than Streit. Yes, he can handle the puck and skate, but his defensive zone play is horrible and he's not very good playing the point either.

No question, Streit should take a seat -- in the stands.
