And-o thinks Calgary stole Jamie Lundmark from Phoenix for a 4th rounder!
This guy is a 25 year-old native Albertan who skates like the freak’in wind and, although he has never lived up to his full potential, has loads and loads of upside and potential…especially for a 4th round.
Plus, Calgary was desperate for a centreman...and this guy didn’t even cost them a guy from their roster.
…And-o predicts that Sutter is gonna make this guy a fan favorite in Calgary!!!

Personally, I thought the Samsonov deal was a great pick up for the Oilers. Samsanov is very creative player with the puck, great spped, and shows a lot of grit for a small forward. Certainly will add offense for the Oilers. Edmonton did not have to give up much for him. Reasoner had that bad ankle injury a couple of seaasons ago, and never the same player since then. Stastny might evolve into a capable player, but at this point Edmonton did not pay much for a player of Samsonov's skill.
I would have to say Rolston to Edmonton. Edmonton has played well all year and has a spot in the playoffs right now and they did that with in my mind 3 goaltenders who wouldn't be a #1 on any team at this time. Conklin=waivers, morrison=waivers, markinen(sp?)a good backup.....and these guys got the job done up to this point. Now Edmonton adds a solid #1 in Rolston so i beleive that this will get them farther in the playoffs then any of the above 3 goaltenders would have. Samsanov was also a good pickup for this team, they have alot of talent and speed, he'll fit in nicely too.
