Glenn Healy - The Hab Hater

Unless you played for the Islanders of 1993, or the Rangers of 1994 Glenn Healy will speak negatively of you.


He bashed the Habs & Bruins after that awful 1st period last night.  However, that "awful" period was a great "road period" for Montreal.  They lauled the B's to sleep, took the crowd out of the game, and oh yeah, it was the 6th game of a 6 game road trip for Mtl. 


Healy does have some good stories, but what is he going to do in a couple of years when Leetch, Tom Fitzgerald & Kovalev are out of the league???  He needs to move on, and learn things about players he never played against.


And one more thing, thanks for wiffing on Carbo's 62mph slaptshot in a huge OT game on the Island back in '93 Glenn.

He's just a color commentator...I never take his opinions too serious. Yvon Pedenault does a good job for RDS.

It's no secret that Healy doesn't like the Habs.  Unless you are a Leaves fan, Healy pretty much dislikes you and will make it known on air.  I know that pretty much everyone out West hates this nerd for his brutal commentary.  And he was a brutal goalie to begin with.

I turned the channel to RDS after 10 minutes or so (Je suis anglophone) because I couldn't take the incessant nattering between Cuthbert and Healy.  They were talking about everything but the game.

Way back when Healy almost became a Hab but a last minute deal with The Leafs changed that - The Habs then settled on Andy Moog to be their goalie.........
