I really enjoyed watching this game (Boston/Montreal). A few things I noticed is that everyone is playing hard, passing well, and seem to be getting along. This can easily be seen tonight when all 5 guys jumped into the "brawl" to defend Ribs. I was loving it!!!! Why? Cause thats what good teammates do, they stick together no matter what. Yeah, Boston wasn't playing well, but it was still a good game for the habs IMO. If the habs can stick together and continue playing like this, we will be in for a good run. I also loved the Pleks/Higgins PK. Tomas was pissed (you could see it) that he had to make to big plays in a span of 30 seconds. (Who said our scouting was garbage??)

Oh, and I wanted to know if any of you guys saw what I saw during the melee: Boyton attempted to kick Ribs as the linesman pulled Boyton off. An attempt alone is worth a suspension (A la Havlat).

Good post. I think Boynton will get a suspension.

I didn't see the kicking attempt, but apparently, the spearing along with the throat slashing motion, will be enough for him to sit a few games.  Not that it matters, since they pretty much have no chance for the playoffs.

Wow I didn't see the kick or the throat-slashing motion.

Instead I got to hear the NESN announcers complain about Ribeiro for 10 minutes and continued replays of Ribeiro punching Boynton first.

lol, yeah, I was wondering wtf he was doing when he was giving the throat slashing motion and yelling your dead. The linesman was right infront of him pushing him back.

We looked sluggish in the last 10 minutes and looked like we were falling back into the pattern of sitting on a lead.  There were some worrisome moments before we scored the empty-netter.
