Stronger at the Goaltending Position

I don't understand...not one person disagreed when their were allegations that Theodore had NO trade value...he wasn't worth much anymore. AB is a bag of pucks? What are these ridiculous comments I'm reading?

That was a good trade. Hello! We just got stronger at the goaltending position. We now have 2 solid goaltenders. Who says AB will be #1. We now have a good goaltender competition just like several top teams in the league.

...and we now have more cap room to sign A SNIPER or D-MAN. Would you of rather kept that money locked up with someone on cruches and the confidence of death row inmate?

Yep. Me too...trading value is now 50% player value and 50% salary and contract.

Which isn't to say Gainey didn't screw up as a whole here. But I'm glad he at least seems to have finally admitted it. He tried to stick with Theo after the signing to get his value up, but it backfired. Now he at least gives in.
