flyers were diving left, right, and centre. for such a strong guy, forsberg sure goes down easier and faster than most girls i knew at puck parties.

The Flyers are a way better team with Forsberg. I agree, these guys were dropping like they were getting shot down. Pathetic, but the refs finally figured it out near games end.

Yep...they got him for his own slash/hook and they even called Savage for diving.

So if Savage is diving, why penalize the guy who tapped him lightly with his stick as well?

Anyway, I thought the reffing was a little cranky tonight. I HATE those weak little hooking calls. I guess I understand the rationale, but still.

Totally agree with you plouf, if a guy is diving and is called for it why then is there a hooking call never could figure that one out.

About the slash/dive - you can't slash a guy, even if he tries to make it look bad so the refs call it. The slash woulda been called but, since you acted like a stunt double and hit the ice, you get called too. That's unsportsmanlike.
