Habs will need more scoring punch to ensure they make the playoffs, and get past the 1st round. Could Recchi be the answer? he's a good pall of Saku, and has scoring punch. Would folks like to see the old guy back in a habs uniform?
Does Ethyl Kennedy own a black dress? Actually I am willing to bet that Recci ends up in Carolina now that Cole is out..next choice would be Ottawa.

Ok...the passion we've been speaking of or the lack of passion we've discussing lately about the Habs. You DON'T have to worry about that with Recchi. HOWEVER, he stated in an interview that he would not like to be traded unless Pitts got something real good in return. Isn't that rare...but then again, it's Recchi, he's all about heart. I would not want to give up too for him.
Is Pittsburgh having a clearout sale? Is #87 being shopped????? (To quote Johab, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!! )
By the way, I read a story in the paper on the weekend referring to the "soon-to-be Kansas City Penguins", but with no furthur clarification. Is this fact, or someone's fanciful imagination?

Barry it sucks when someone gets injured, but as a hab fan we have to smile a little, here is why i'm saying that. If we make it too the playoffs, and if we climb a little higher that eight spot, if Ottawa catches the Canes. I know that is alot of ifs, but Cole has been a hab killer for a number of years and doesn't hurt my feelings one bit if he is missing. Especially if there is a playoff match up in the future!

If Crosby AND Recchi BOTH came to montreal id run down my street naked and start a riot!!! Wouldnt that be awesome!!! ( the first part ) But lets be realistical. Crosby wont be in montreal until he is a UFA As for the Kansas Penguins, chances are its true. I IMO feel that it is more of a marketing thing to move Pitts there instead of Canada. However i am really starting to get tired of these non hockey cities getting teams and really ruining the fun of the game. Did anyone see the florida panthers crowd!?!? And luongo wants to play there?!?! is he crazy?!?! As good as the weather is down there, you cant get excited to play with a fan base like that!!!

True Ray- if there is such a thing as a silver lining over someone getting hurt, it is the fact that we would not have to face Cole. I love that guy. In fact, he would be on the top of my wish list for a hab. Gritty, Power Forward with good hands. He plys tough..but I can tell you that Cole never ran anyone from behind like the coward did to him Saturday.

berry berry berry , ill give you 1 thing , when you get a thought in your head it aint coming out , he didnt run him from behind , it was a split second turn by cole , and since your throwing around adjectives , if cole had a back bone and not been afraid to take a hit he would still be playing , lol by the way .

As I said- had it been Koivu or Kovalev who's neck the guy broke, I wonder if some on this board would be as forgiving?
