80% say we shouldn't trade for another goalie. I agree, we're OK and Huet is a big guy, I don't think he'll get too tired. He plays his angles correct and doesn't burn the energy that Theo tends to because he's smaller and has to cover more net.

i think we'll be just fine. We have great depth in goal. I don't care that people think Danis isn't ready. We'd be wasting our time getting another goalie UNLESS it costs a goalie in return and is an upgrade. Other than that, we have other holes to plug. There is no hole in net.

As I have said..Theo comes back with his salary in 4 weeks..what then?

I think Theo will sit and watch Cristobal for the rest of the season and I have no problem with that.  With the race this tight, you have to go to the guy who is playing well and it certianly isn't Jose.  However, this is only my opinion...

Im confident with our goalie situation....and im POSITIVE, if not this season than next that Theo regains form. The guy is a competitor and he will stop at nothing to be the best he can be. I dont care what anyone says, if your an athlete....just being paid isnt enough...you want to be paid and be played!!

I agree. Stay with what we've got. Huet is hot. Theo will come back and we'll see what he can salvage of the season. And in the meantime, Danis gets some work (in practice at least) with the big boys. The Habs have had some very good young goalies over the years who went on to become elite players. Let's hope this tradition continnues...
