Journalist report that Kovalev and Saks hardly looked at each other during the traditional hand shake at the at end of the semi-final game. Sure looks like it in this photo. Even if Kovy is disappointed...this is odd; they seem like 2 complete strangers, let alone, teamates.

This is strange! They get along in a Habs uniform, don't they? Maybe they're not on the same line because they don't want to be?
You would think they would at least wish each other luck for the next game? I remember Seeing Saks and Markov have a pleasant exchange after this game!

Yes, I saw the Markov exchange also. This is what makes it even more odd.

There is alot more going on in that dressing room then any of you can even begin to imagine. I am leaving it at that. Suffice it to say that Kovalev and Koivu are not tight.

Aarggh....this is so confusing. Here I was thinking Kovalev was part of the "Koivu clique"...
Well I'd be glad if each clique had their own little special line, their own colour water bottles, each with a very special favourite symbol done in permanent marker, and maybe a sticker too....as long as they SUCK IT UP AND KEEP PLAYING LIKE THEY CAN....
We're 5-3-2 in our last ten. Let's hope this continues.
Exactly Nil. Why is it that this season we get the feeling that the players on this team seem to simply not like each other? Is it the media? Are they stretching the truth for "a better read"? Barry has the inside scoop on the negative atmosphere in the dressing room. I'm starting to believe that more and more.

It is worse than you can imagine..and as much as some of us would like to blame Ribs..or Theo, or even Saks, there is enough blame to pass around. Gainey has made a statement by signinmg the Captain and is now inside the room. Suffice it to say that egos are one of the biggest issues in there. Just watch closely when someone scores a goal. You can see how some players react (or do not react) when a certain player scores. Bob will fix er

Barry, how do you get all this inside info? Is it really from Julien? How does it work when you live in Maritimes?

Barry, I have posted that in the past when I noticed Ribs score a goal, everyone gave him a high five at the bench except for Saks. That's no big surprise though, we all know their history.
I have to ask, if it's worse now that Saks got the new contract and Kovy isn't paid the most? He may be totally sulking and that's why Gainey gave him a token A on his jersey.
I've been critical of Gainey this season for alot of his decisions but I feel for him to have to deal with all these juvenile players. Bunch of millionare cry babies!

Key Lime- yes it is from CJ..we talk often either by phone or email. So since he is now out of the loop my source has dried up and some of these things may already have changed or be in the process of getting fixed. All I know is that he had his hands full when he was there. But keep in mind that these things happen on alot of teams..but when you play in the fishbowl called Montreal they get magnified.
