Well, we're up to 19, with another one guaranteed in men's curling. Canada had 18 in Salt Lake City, so we're ahead of that already.

I'm not sure what events are left, however.

Actually, Canada had 17 in Salt Lake. And, like you said guaranteed a medal in men's curling. I think there is still some short track skating (there are three events left) and freestyle skiing. I think they will be close. For those wondering where I got 25 medals from, the Canadian Olympic Committee said that they are aiming for 25 medals. They want to use the results to get more funding for "Own The Podium" in 2010.

Forgive me Power, as I am really just a fringe fan of the sport, but, don't the Finns normally do well in curling? You know, not necessarily first, but near the top?

I think that they have 1 medal and usually they are in places between 4-6. I think, I am not sure about this one.

Last I heard Can 4 - Finland 2 after 4 ends. Can anyone update this? Sorry, men's curling.
