 Playing well for Canada!


 I think this guy will be top ten centermen within a couple years in the NHL!


 He's in his fifth season and has been improving every season with this season going to be his best. Has 60 points in 58 games thus far. What I also like about him, is in 5 seasons, he has only missed 2 games! Consistently he seems to be always in the 20 goal range per season but I think he could finish more(he has the talent) but he likes to share the puck!


 Good stats playing behind Lecavilier!


 Also he is 198 lbs which isn't huge but he's strong on the puck and has great skill!


 AB would love to see this guy in a Habs uniform! He would solidify our center ice position! He's an honest worker and doesn't take games off! Just what the Doctor ordered!


 How can we get this guy and sign him long term? He would be our future #1 for many years to come!


 How can we turn this dream into reality?

He will be commanding a 7+ million dollar salary so don't count on him coming to the Habs. He's already a superstar. I wish we had a chance at him...

 In saying that John, who does have the Cap room? It sounds like Tampa won't so why not try. We may have as much of a chance as anyone else but the problem lies in the gamble to trade for him and then not being able to sign him in the off season! 


 Maybe Gainey takes the approach of trying for a trade without giving too much and if that fails and he's available in the off season, then go for it while we may have more Cap room then many other teams! Even at 7 mil., we may be able to squeeze him. After that, Gainey can concentrate on dumping saleries like Bonk and Theo even if he has to eat some of it!


 I just have a feeling that he will be one of the best centermen in a few years. He has already showing signs of a big game player during their Cup run and presently at the Olympics! He is due to peak soon, so if we somehow can sign him to a few seasons, that would be great!
