I have put together a gift basket for Theo to help him in his recovery:
Barry....I have read most of your posts and respect your hockey knowledge. But this was a very nasty post. Kick him when he's down why don't you. You sound mighty happy about his downfall......a little biased arent' you? And if it was a joke, not funny.

Mrs Hab- I think you took this completely the wrong way and if I , in any way offended you, I apologize. I am neither happy about his downfall nor am I biased. In fact I sent this post to Theo through CJ who stays in touch with him. I have met Jose Theodore and played golf with him. It was meant to be satiric and not a "kick him when he is down" thing. In fact I am sure that he will get a chuckle out of it when he sees it. Hockey players tend to joke about things when they are going bad. I will give you an example. In my last year of University Hockey I was really struggling (I am a goalie), much like Theo is this year. My confidence was horrible and I could not have stopped a beachball. One day after practice I come into the dressingroom to find a white cane and a pair of dark glasses in my stall. That was not the best part. They had gone out and borrowed a seeing eye dog from a blind student at school and he was sitting waiting for me. Some may look at that as cruel or kicking me when I was down but it is how hockey players deal with things. Ironically it took the pressure off of me and I turned my year around. The next night I got a shutout.

Please accept my apology Barrie....I totally thought you were serious. You'd think I'd know better having a hockey playing son.....sometimes I open my mouth before my brain is engaged. No hard feelings, I hope.

Nope, you're not like him at all......but then we are all pretty unique. A lot of people think we're all nuts because we're Hab fans, even I think so sometimes.
Thanks Nil......my last post wasn't very nice to poor Barrie. In my defence, I honestly thought he was serious. Honestly, some days I am such a "girl".

But you're a Hab girl, and you're one of us!
