I guess this means Huet and Danis will carry the teams load from here on in. Our playoff hopes are onHuets sholders. Heres a tricky question. IF Montreal does manage to make the playoffs and theo is back from his injury. Do we give the starting job back to our "#1" or let Huet play the pipes. I say we ride the hot goalie. If huet gets us there, he deserves the spot!

Jose Theodore season is over.  Forget about trading him now.  We need to get another goaltender if we are going to try and make the playoffs.  I know that Huet is playing well, but we need another goaltender to carry the load.

My comment to Habs management, use this as an opportunity to get a good goaltender and dump Theodore during the off season.

No brainer. You go with the guy who gets you there. In this case, if it happens, it'll be on Huet's shoulders. I think he's got the work ethic to pull it off too...

At least Danis won't need to clear waivers when recalled!

Could Jose Theodore possibly have a worse season than this one??? (That is not a dare Jose!)

...how much good fortune is left in the "Crystal Ball"???

I'm expeting the Habs to make a deal for a goalie now, having Danis simply as a bench warmer isn't going to do him any good. Although someone like Biron wold probably be a long shot. Someone like Felix Potvin or Arthurs Irbe could probably be brought in for cheap. Also as long as Theo is on the IR we don't have to carry his salary.

I don't think we need another goaltender. The games the Huet has played clearly confirms that he can complete the season as a #1.

26 games, maybe he'll play in 18 and Danis in 6. If you would of asked me 2 months ago, I would of said "no way" but Huet has proved himself. I believe in him SHORT-TERM.

That sounds about right. This will turn out to be a huge chance for Danis to prove he's a capable NHL'er.

I was a big fan of Potvin when I was younger, I don't know why. But either way, please, no Potvin or Irbe. They won't do the job.

To have Danis play only 6 games seems like a waste. Thats why I think the Habs will bring in another guy to probably serve as a backup to Huet so they can keep Danis in the minors.
