Latendresse ignored!

Dominic Ricard, the Drummondville's GM is concerned about why Trevor Timmins (head of Habs recruiting) has only called once or twice regarding Guillaume Latendresse. Ricard expected to collaborate with the Habs when it comes to Latendresse's development.

Is it because Guillaume's play has been mediocre until his last three games?

OR because since his return from the Junior Championship, where he was benched by Sutter, he scored only one goal in 9 games? (However he has 9 points in his last 3 games)?

The Habs better take care of their prospects because the fans will not accept more misdiagnoses with our young players!

Pie, they have so many young forwards they are trying to rotate into the line-up.  Pleks, Perezhogin, Kostitsyn, Higgins and Murray.  Gui is the youngest of the bunch I believe and his time will come.

For sure. I agree. I just hope the Habs have the right strategy in developing the young players and give them hope that with hard work they can make the big team.

Do you think that Latendresse will be a player that'll always need attention and higher maintenance? If so, do we need another Kovy on this team?

I hope Latendresse can show progress just for the sake of making it to the NHL without Habs having to babysit!

We definately can't have another "Kovy mentality". What happened to the days where players played hard because they wanted to be the best they can be? Is it all about money and status today? It's unfortunate but I can't answer whether he's high maintenance. However, if I just go by feel, he "seems" like a high maintenance player who needs to be spoon fed.
