He's been a zero most of the season.  These guys love playing for their countries, but they are half-assed in the NHL.  I'll be he sees a ton of ice on the Suisse team.

the statement of ando was ironic ....

But, it's all about trust. Mark gets the trust in the Swiss team, and he pays it back. Yes, he'll see a lot of ice with the Suisse team. He said in a Swiss newspaper column that he loves playing in Montréal, that it's amazing in the NHL, and he will not give up and keep on fighting, so your statement about half-assed is just ridicolous ...

I was going to correct him on that one, Andy boy.  You get enough abuse on this Board without taking some you don't deserve.

no no, and-o I meant to say to 24rings that your topic (Mark Streit a hero...yes,  a hero!) was with an ironic touch. The rest was meant to say '24 Rings, right.

Great day last night for the Swiss, first the historic victory vs. the Czechs, then the silver medal of Stéphane Lambiel in figure skating, and a gold medal of May Pedersen-Bieli in skelethon. And last but not least the win of FC Thun in the UEFA Cup vs. Hamburger SV of Germany. Wooowwww. I know for you Canadians this is nothing really special, but for the Swiss this was one of the greatest sports day of the year.
