That was the surprise that Sens went out and signed him to big bucks! Especially with his injury status while with Detroit! They have to live with it now! He's what, about 39 yrs old?

Sources tell TSN that Czech goaltender Dominik Hasek has suffered an adductor injury that has sidelined him for Thursday's game against Switzerland.
An MRI exam Wednesday night revealed the injury, which is related to the groin muscle.
Team doctors will know how serious the injury is in a couple of days and the team's physiotherapist says there is a "30-40 percent chance" he will play again in the Olympics. However, the injury should not affect his season with the Ottawa Senators.
After Thursday's game, the team takes Friday off, then plays again Saturday and Sunday.
Hasek has been troubled by groin injuries in recent years, but has played 43 NHL games this season with the Senators. His 2.09 goals-against average is one of the lowest in the league.
Hasek won the Hart Trophy as the NHL's MVP in 1997 and 1998 and led the Detroit Red Wings to the 2002 Stanley Cup. He shut out rival Russia 1-0 in the Czechs' dramatic gold-medal game in Nagano in 1998 after they beat Canada in the semifinals
