Recieved my college application replies from a few of the colleges i applied to. Not the acceptance or rejection letters, but the pre-course required testing letters. I applied at Algonquin college in Ottawa for Television Broadcasting, Radio Broadcasting and also Police Foundations. I also applied at Loyalist college in Belleville for Radio Broadcasting and in St Lawrence college in Cornwall for Police Foundations. My fingers are crossed for Algonquin though. Anyways, withing the next couple weeks i will be writing the mandetory test for the Broadcasting and also Radio broadcasting courses. The test is 3 hours long and includes a 1 page essay. Although the test isnt the ONLY thing they look at to decide on if you are accepted or not, it is a big part, so you can bet im pretty nervous!! Wish me luck!!

Good on you Johab!

...And-o suggests that you take 10 minutes away from 'gohabs.com' and surf onto the Ryerson website and plan a jump over to the biggest and best such program in Canada for budding young broadcasters!

Remember Jo...the medium IS the message!

...also, get a haircut...lose 10 pounds...read allot...buy a pair of really sophisticated eye-glasses and work on enriching your vocals with gallons and coffee and mountains of cigarettes!

LOL!

Seriously though...take a look!

Congratulations to Northwinds and Best wishes to Johab!

You guys have your heads screwed on straight, which speaks well to today's youth.

Give 'em hell, guys!

Johab all the best and I hope you do well, I did the same test about 15 years ago, was mainly about Canada.  One question I had was who was the premier of Newfoundland.  Threw me for a loop, not to many people know that answer especially someone in Ontario.  For the record it was Clyde Wells at  the time, to this day I make a point of knowing the premier of Newfoundland.  Just something that stuck to me.  Good Luck!!!!
