AB, I normally like your posts, but your anti-Saku rants are starting to grate on me. Saku's "poor play" is beyond my comprehension! Top scorer, one of the top +/- , top PPG, plays his guts out every night ..........what more do you want or expect???

Having said that, I find your use of the vernacular quite entertaining tonight. "Direct attachment on his crown"? "Discludes"? Are you doing an English Lit course?

...and And-o has been desparate for one, in fact - And-o is guilty of wanting one too much!!!

I had hoped Bonk was it - wrong!

Pleks might suffice - I figure he sure isn't a downgrade from Saku (especially if given the chances Saku has had)!

...we'll see!

I really wouldn't mind Saku getting a new deal with the Habs...BUT ONLY strictly as a 2nd liner!!!

Ah yes, And-o and AB have reached the desparation stage. If all else fails( Ribby lovefest)...then band together and vent frustation against the guys who actually call the situations as they actually are.

I sense the anger. These two knuckleheads are great contributers to the board unless they have the Ribby blinders on.

andy how can you slang on koivu for not being a no.1 center and in the same arguement say plecs may be good enuf to replace him . they are the same player , size and skill , and game wise . with more experience i think pleks will become a saku clone . he has the game , just like saks .

Macneil, this was in response to my past thread that if Gainey doesn't add an elete centermen by next season that young Plecs will slide into that position while he is improving every game and Saks is on the decline! I think And-o was agreeing by saying Plecs will suffice!

Whether Plecs is a Saks clone or not, I'm not sure as it's too early to tell. But I do know that I like his speed, vision, stick handling , passing and his shot now. He does need to work on his face offs as John mentioned but that will come as he continues to improve overall!
