Anyone hear from Mulsy lately...YOU HOOOOOOUUU....PUHLEEEZ - NICE TURTLE ON YA!


Anyway...And-o is/was not so upset by Saku's lazy dumb-ass penalty as by his absence from the post-game interviews (as Barry33 posted)!  I tell ya, say what you will...but And-o is just glad that Gainey is in the room watching all of this first-hand...and I guarantee you he is watching!!!


Saku will likely receive an offer to remain a Hab...but And-o predicts it will be a "low-ball" offer!


...and, according to "the other board"...Saku opted out of practice today.  Cue the injury Saku!?!?!?  Or is he primping for Torino with a "spa" day???

Throughout the game, Koivu did go to the dressing room several times (not sure whether it was because of injury or wardrobe malfunction).

In any event, his failure to attend the press conference was a weenie manoeuvre.

well And-o, Like I DID state already in a previous post, Koivu's penalty was deserved. But I will bite. Those days of not wearing a helmet have clearly impacted my ability to avoid arguments with children.


To be clear, I try to post about how good a player plays. I only opt to post negatives when a player plays multiple( 5-6) subpar games...i.e Ribby and Bonk. And Ribby has had his fair share of my negative commentary. But is justifiable no???


wherass you can't wait for a game in which Koivu does not shine. Hey, Koivu had an alright game. Nothing spectacular. He got caught on a bad penalty...but if you get your nose dirty( notice he was along the boards mucking), your bound to get the occasional no brainer penalty. Scrapers do...ask Begin. At least they are in there digging as oppossed to dancing the macarina like the Rib cage...


News flash: Koivu is a + player who leads the team in scoring...I call that pretty consistent.


As for the press conference, I don't know about that one. I am not into supporting a player without being able to justify my answer. I don't know why he was absent.  


But at least And-o you have enjoyed the loss. Kick em while they are down, that's always a sign of a supportive fan. I'm sure Selanne and Brad Richards can't wait to sign with the habs and have such awsome fans such as yourself.


Plueeeez And-o, At least pick on the real garbage on the team that are being paid big bucks to do squat( Ribby, Bonk, Theo..). At least then you might obtain some credibility. At the moment your posts are opportunistic and lack common sense.

I agree totally agree with muller 93 , saku plays day in and day out with his heart on his jersey! as with not showing up to the post-game interview, we all have days where we don't want to talk to anyone! let's have saku have his day!

By the way Andy, as per CJAD, Saku has the flu but will play tomorrow. Zednik didn't accompany the team because of the same flu.

Well Mulsy...


+/- is complete garbage, especially as it relates to Koivu!  For example, the entire Sabre team were a combined -5 last night...while the Habs were +4...how is that for a useless stat!?!?!?


As for Saku's game last evening, And-o agrees that it was "alright" and "nothing spectacular" (which is hardly a rare occurrence)...at least up until his latest brain cramp (remember last weeks "hail Mary" pass that didn't quite make it???).  Cripes...the guy didn't even have to face-off versus the toughest healthy Sabre's...let alone their best players.


...and And-o expects Saku to take the easy road out by letting Begin swing in the breeze for the media!!!   


Anyway...no point in arguing with you about this!  It just cheeses my off though how blind faith has elevated this guy beyond criticism.  He is no Gainey...no Carbo...no Muller...no Robinson...etc....and, certainly no Saint! 


In fact, he is due to lay a big fat egg anyday now and just go on the IR...and, sadly, you just don't see it coming!

Now I know it's frustrating little And-o when your hero Ribby turned out to be a loser. But we will have to put you in time out if you vent your frustrations on the other children...That's not how grown ups act little And-o...


It's been fun And-o but I've grown weary. If you have a two year old like I do, you know what it's like talking with the insane, I'd rather not do it during my down time.


It's cold and the crickets are chirping a little to loud for my liking.

 Guys stick to the first topic in this thread! I don't recall And-o starting out by including Bonk and Ribs in his first opinion! Wasn't about Saks not responding to the media?

Thanks JohnM. Is it me or are those dam crickets chirping really loud. Oh sorry that's just me going insane reading these posts from And-o and AB.


I mean geez AB, the top of And-o's post spelled out who had to defend who...oh well, that oversight pretty much helps highlight most of your oversights with regards to your Anti Koivu blah blah's.
