Dandenault...quack quack

Is it just me or have others in this forum noticed that when the opposing team is digging deep in Habs end, Dandenault looks like a chicken without a head. He seems confused and slow.

It's funny as the season goes on and you see more and more games, you notice that players make the same mistakes over and over. You could make the arguement that they've been playing a certain way for their entire career and in a short time they have to change the way they think on the ice.

The other problem with Dandenault is that he is a displaced forward and sometimes still thinks like a forward.  Down low is not his strongest area which is why I have always thought he should be used as a 3rd/4th liner who can play D on the PK, as well as give us insurance if one of our D go down.  One of the things we need is a top-four right-side d-man who can allow Dandenaut to play forward.

Really? You think he'd be a good forward for an entire season. Interesting! Very interesting.

I think Dandy is a VERY average defenseman and he hid in a Detroit roster full of stars.

I could definitely see Dandenault at forward. A big guy who can slug it out in the corners and jam it up in front of the net would be a good thing at times. But I don't agree that he's been any worse than any other Habs defenseman in our own end. Souray (The Pylon) has been burned way more often than Dandenault if my memory serves me correctly. And Komi, Rivet and The Cube do the chicken-duck cluck-quack routine just as well as Dandenault does, with Mark Streit being the worst of all. Is Dandenault worse than the rest? NEIGH.

NEIGH?  Good one!

But I don't agree.  I think Dandenault and Komisarek are the worst two defensemen.  Markov & the Cube are the best two.  But that's just my opinion......

Quack!

BTW, I see Hainsey had two assists last night.............
