Which means he has to be the least controversial player on the Habs this year. No one talks about him. I think it's like this: nothing is expected, and he does not much, and nobody cares too much about it.
Does anyone have anything to say about this guy?

Not from me. The guy's pretty uncontroversial. Tries his hardest, but has little (very little) talent. Except that he was a star on the Swedish Junior team. Come to think about it, I think that having Forsberg as a linemate might have been somewhat of a contributing factor.
Have you noticed the bizarre correlation between Sundstrom yearly production and George Michael's album sales? Both downward trending in precisely the same way.... spooky!
Don't like the guy at all...he's slow, has no scoring talent any more (he did score 24 goals one year with the rangers) and all he is there for is on our energy line and penalty kill...well he's a waste of space in my mind. I notice the towel boy more than this guy during a game.

God, don't let that word get out...................
Actually, what I said is that I don't find him as annoying as I once did. He'll rebound, I'm sure.

Hey, thanks for that, 24 Rings! Thomas, not Niklas............ Now I can go back to saying Pierre McGuire is an idiot.
Thanks, 24, you made my day!

Sorry to do this again Nil, but, Maguire did say that Wayne Gretzky called Niklas Sundstrom the smartest player he had ever played with or against. Whether or not Maguire was right, I don't know.

Yes, I know McGuire said Niklas. McGuire was wrong (he meant Patrick), and that's what restores my opinion of him.

I couldn't confirm it. I was just 100% sure that he couldn't have meant Niklas. What is he so smart about? Icing the puck on a kill? Maybe we are not giving Niklas his due credit? No, I don't think so.

Or do you all mean Thomas SANDstrom?
If Pierre McGUire doesn't know, how would I?
Gretzky played with both Sundstrom and Sandstrom, I believe.
(But did he bet on them?)
