The Sabres Success...

And-o thinks that only Calgary can match Buffalo’s overall intensity and work ethic…plus, their goaltending is deeper than the Atlantic!  Also, I can’t ever recall a Lindy Ruff team getting bullied or taking a night off.

Just think…injuries to two of their top three centres (Briere and Connolly) have not slowed them down one bit.  They draft well.  They trade well.  They get ZERO respect.  Yet, they keep chugging along “gett’in ‘er done”!

And-o predicts that, if the Habs do not match the Sabres intensity for the entire game, this one will get ugly fast/frequently!

…the Sabres wingers can humble any defense in the league!

Good post And-o! Many teams go in there looking for easy two points because they always think they are better on paper! Many underrated players on the Sabres that work hard! Teams are beginning to realize that the Sabres love the new NHL!

I feel that Lindy Ruff deserves very serious consideration for the Jack Adams trophy (Coach of The Year). You would be hard pressed to find a coach this year who has done more with less.

He'll be in tough against Peter Laviolette (Carolina's coach).
