On NHL.com, Bulis and Higgins are both listed as centres.  Is this true?  I thought they were both wingers.  If they have played centre, why not make Bulis the #2 centreman and Higgins #3?  Or Bulis #1, dropping Saku to #2?  Bulis has been our best player in 2006 , I would say.

Actually Nil, Bulis has been used as a center but not Higgins!

That is correct!

Koivu, Ribeiro, Bonk, Begin, Higgins, Bulis, Plekanec, Locke and I think Lapierre have all played as centres.

...quantity...just not quality (though getting stronger)!!!

Part of it is there face-off prowess, or lack thereof.  I think also it is because they are very strong on the boards and have outstanding outside speed.

Bulis apparently has a brutal face-off record, and Higgins...well I don't know why Higgins isn't getting a shot at centre, because he's played well there, but maybe it's because of what Habstastic says...he's good along the boards and is fast going straight.
