I simply do a right-click, copy and paste. Works for me, but that sounds like what you tried and it doesn't work for you.

Hey Nil d, thanks for replying to my post. Yeah I tried that several times. I did a copy from an email someone sent me, could that have anything to do with it. Should I copy the file onto my HD. I'd be surprised if that was the case, but like I said, I'm at a loss. :sad:

I'll see if i can do something to eliminate any confusion here. Once you have the link for the image, you would click the IMG button in the post as seen here:

then a window will pop up and you'd paste the image in that window like so:

That could be it. Try it; nothing to lose. You might also try saving the picture under several different formats - .jpg, html, etc. and trying the copy/paste with each.

Hi Zulrath, looking at your reply (thank you by the way) I don't have an image button when I post. I'm using IE 6.0 and it looks very different than what you posted. My displays shows Horizontal Rule, Insert Web Link and View HTML Source buttons among the regular once you have/see.

Are you using Netscape?

I'm using Mozilla Firefox. Interesting enough, I tried using Internet Explorer, and I couldn't get it to work.

Is anyone out there using IE 6.0 and able to post images. If so, I'd love to know how you're doing it. Thanks.

That's interesting Zulrath, because I can only get this forum to work on Firefox as well.
