Ummmm. Confidence in the goalie= extra player on the ice. Thank You Huet. I don't think he is spectacular by any stretch but he at least makes the saves he should and throws in a few key saves on top. So you see, that thing called lack of momentum can result in getting only 17 shots on goal etc. You gotta play with confidence in your goalie. You would think we had that piece of the puzzle figured with the 5.5 mil guy huh?
I figure Theo had a lot more to do with how bad the habs are....?were?, than we may have known.
Did anyone heard what Souray said in interview after Boston win, concerning goaltending. Quote"this team has been missing solid goaltending"(or something like that) right Theo?

I don't know about Souray but I got this from an article on the TSN site after today's game:
Canadiens defenceman Mathieu Dandenault says having a goaltender as hot as Huet is right now eases the minds of the guys playing in front of him.
"It's just not in the back of your mind," Dandenault said. "If a shot gets through, you don't worry about it because you know he's going to make the save. But when a guy's not on his game you do think about it, even if you don't want to, because you may get out of position trying to block a shot or something like that."
It doesn't directly refer to Theo being off his game but it can explain part of their lackluster forecheck and unwillingnes to take offensive chances.
