Sure he makes mistakes but I can accept them because he tries and cares! He was great in the first period! When the team plays well, so does he! When the team plays poorly, he tries too hard to do too much!

Also, love his leadership! After the first period, Gill shoved Saks after the whistle. Who was the first guy there? Always Souray! No way should the opposition get free shots at Saks! He doesn't need to drop them to send a message! He has a reputation that goes a long way!

I would rather lose with a team of Sourays, Begins and Boullions rather than the sorry bunch we have now!

Agian I totally see the Souray issue like you do. I was just reluctant to say it because it seems that some Hab fan don't see the little things that get disguised.

I like Souray and I agree he stands up for his mates and he takes on a leadership role, but that doesn't change the fact that he isn't that good.  Too many mistakes.  Ulitmately, a slightly better than average NHL defenseman.

One of sourays biggest faults is he plays the puck instead of the man and he is such a big guy you would think he would throw his wieght around alittle more? It sure would stop the other team from using him as a pylon.

Really , Souray isn't that good.I Watch the game on RDS, and they made a point that he would make a good 5th or 6th defenseman on a team 10 -12 minutes a game . I would have to agree.
