Is it me, or does our current team lack as much personality as points? While there's a couple of exceptions, the team has no personal spark, let alone a fire inside.

I'd rather see Esa Tikkanen out there bugging the other team than another sour-faced underachiever clogging up payroll and my patience...

I think they're trying to emulate their new coach and GM, Brook-Hab. They all think that if they're as unemotional and disinterested as BG always seems to be, that maybe they'll get style points and get to hang around getting paid to do nothing until they're old and gray. Gainey's a statue, and the rest of the team looked like a bunch of Venus de Milos tonight (only they were missing arms AND legs)...

Who's Gainey's model as a coach? Scotty Bowman, I'd say. Well Scotty didn't freak out on the bench much. I think people read WAY too much into the coach's demeanour on the bench.
