Just think if Huet plays in several consecutive games that Habs have a chance to put wins together! If they trust their goalie, they'll open it up again and turn on their speed!
With Theo behind them, they're playing too tight and then of course end up making more mistakes. They need to get confident as a team and can't do it if they feel beat before they start!
It's becoming too demorilizing playing in front of Theo! I'm sure by now they want to choke him like Homer chokes Bart!
The first mistake Gainey made was not trusting why CJ was going to stay with Huet and give him a chance to prove himself! Remember how hot Huet was getting! I think if BG would of stayed with him, the Habs would of got on a streak rather than just two games! Of course we all know BG's first move was to call off Huet and put his guy in there! Easy for me to say as an after thought but I just wish that BG would of kept him in there and concerned himself with the skaters rather than his own image!
If your Huet right now, you have to know that you don't stand a chance with BG to get a chance! Even if plays outstanding, he may not get the next start! How would that make you feel Barry or Johab, if you knew you were the sharp goalie but your coach favoured the other guy? Just worried that if Huet starts taking it to heart that he may become apathetic and give up! Then we may have two goalies tanked!
Just a thought but BG better be more carefull because Huet can still be our bread and butter down the stretch! Right now he's so set on getting Theo going that he isn't thinking of what it could do to Huet's psychological state!
You goalies out there, I need your feed back on this one!
