I can't name names lol. But my source from the trade that would have sent 2 stars didn't come from the habs source. It came from my Source out west. They are very reliable; however I'm usually sworn to secrecy cause most of um are paranoid for some reason.

What do I know for sure? Heh. I know that Gainey has recieved alot of calls, and has been dialing quite a few numbers since December. Problem is, his dance partners are relucatant to take on the extra baggage that Gainey wants to offload as an extra in the trade. Making the whole trade lop-sided in favor of the other team.

I will state this: Gainey has tried to dump Ribs and Bonk in the latest trade. And it almost worked.

"Stars" meaning 2 better than average players? The term "star" is relative on this squad...

Stars meaning that one of them would have been given atleast the "A" for the respect he commands in the dressing room; and his solid play season in-season out.

The other player, marvelous centerman that would have taken the #1 spot.

Gainey knows what we need, he's trying to get'err done.

jay 1982, sorry but you are just stating the obvious. Nobody here has any type of source or leak other than stupid trade rumor sites. Its obvious Gainey is trying to Dump Bonk and Ribs, anyone who watches the canadiens knows that, so try and impress someone else.

That seems kind of harsh to me. If he says his source is reliable then I have no reason to doubt him, and I don't think anybody else does either.

I for one enjoy hearing speculation from sources I otherwise might not have access to, so keep it up, Jay!

The Colorado-Columbus-Montreal rumor was a hoax by some poser pretending to be the brother of a player or something. It was reported all over the place. The same guy posted 2 last year that caused the same amount of talk and no action. As reported by 730 Chorus Quebec.

I didn't even know about that "rumor" until you brough it up, I looked at it, and dismissed it rght away, I would have not said they would have given little in return, because at this stage of that game, montreal would be the winner if that trade were infact real by dumping alot of money. And in return get 2 people who are hard workers and respect their craft.

I would be very surprised if we got that little in return for Theo. He's not THAT worthless...anyway, Columbus GM said Denis was not going anywhere. I wouldn't want a goalie anyway. Denis and Danis would be too confusing.
