Today's trivia question is; Who was the first player to score fifty goals for the Pittsburgh Penguins in one season? A.Rick KehoeB.Jean PronovostC.Pierre Larouche
Pronovost and Larouche both did it in 75/76, but who did it first (i.e. scored goal number 50 first) I don't know. Kehoe did his 50 in 80/81.

Today's trivia question is; Who was the first player to score fifty goals for the Pittsburgh Penguins in one season? A.Rick KehoeB.Jean PronovostC.Pierre Larouche
........and the answer is;
Jean Provovost was the first Penguin to score fifty in one season. The date was March 24, 1976 in a 5-5 tie with the Boston Bruins. The goalie was Gillies Gilbert. Ten days later Pierre Larouche recorded number fifty in a 5-4 loss to Washington. Ron Low was the goalie that night for the Caps. Rick Kehoe became the third Penguin to notch fifty in 1981 on March 16 in a 7-6 win over The Edmonton Oilers. Eddie Mio was the Oiler 'tender that night and of course stood in as Wayne Gretzky's best man several years after that.
