 With Ethan Moreau gone from Oilers, rumours resurfaced that they still have an interest in Ribs!


 Personally because many here see him as a smurf and Saks as a monster player, I think Ribs would be a perfect fit in the Oil! They have talented fast wingers that need a centermen to give them the puck unlike our Habs who do squat with the puck after Ribs puts the thing right on their blade every time!


 Don't forget, Ribs is being paid as a play maker! At least there he could do his thing! I don't think Downey or Ivanans will pot many!

Perhaps I don't share your sense of sarcasm, but  agree AB is overstating Ribeiro's passing abilities.  He has the talent, no doubt, but like most on this team, doesn't exhibit it on a regular basis.  What I find about Ribeiro is his choice of plays always seems wrong - he shoots when he should pass, he passes when he should shoot, he skates around the net when he should be cutting in front, he........... you get my drift.


He's just not a very smart player, IMHO.
