Perhaps Gainey should treat the Olympic break as THE trade deadline!?

How is the sked more brutal than the one we just had. In terms of trades, the players have to step up in the next 7 games in order to show their value. Even at that, it's still difficult without throwing in a prospect like Perez or Kosti. What do you think?

 And-o, that's a good point! Also to fill holes before the Olympics will help us after the break as there's six road games to follow! Fact is, Habs are one of the worst away teams in the league! Those road games will kill the Habs chances to make the playoffs with this soft team!


 Our defense in paticular are weak on the road! A big solid D guy and an elete centermen could get this team over the hump on the road!


 In saying that Gainey will have to make some noise like Oilers did!
